So that's the thing. If they can do AoA versions, then they could've definitely done more of this line.
Buying the AoA versions would just be repeats at this point. Not sure I'd want to start the AoA line.

I'll only be getting AoA statues of characters i don't already have in 1/10,which means none of the initial ones shown so far.

But it's repeats of much more popular characters plus a bump for a new line.

I guess you can do that. But for those that know the AoA story line and the normal story line, it's going to look odd to see an AoA piece next to a non-AoA piece.
To each their own, I guess.

Yup. I can only see an upside for Iron Studios, not the collectors.

Not sure what's going on with the AoA line. They showed off the initial reveal, and it seems to be the big battle with the giant Apocalypse. This original X-Men line was way more ambitious with the 3 Sentinels, and why they probably could keep releasing more and more proximity pieces. It's really a shame that they switched.
Not saying it's dead, but who knows. AoA probably hasn't stirred too much interest either. It's cool, but not as cool as the original X-Men. And with rising prices, who exactly is going to deal out money for the AoA line?

On a side note, as part of Sideshows buy one get one 50% off deal going on this week, there are many pieces from this line included. Most notably Sentinel #2 and Sentinel #3 are part of it.
Also includes Forge, Scarlet Witch, Emma Frost, Sauron, & Quicksilver

I wonder why some pieces like Omega Red and Magneto appear for preorder again? Does anyone know how many pieces were made per character?

Renan just confirmed there will be more X-Men characters revealed in the future. I think there is a high chance that we see some new statues this upcoming friday (during Inside Iron Studios) and CCXP is next week, which is their biggest event of the year.
