I'm building my own diorama

Hello, I came from Germany und I will show you my project, my diorama of the X-men BDS line.

This is the beginning. I must build 2 more sentinels and some small statues. But the lightning works and is connected with Phillips Hue.

That looks massive and cool.

I can't imagine how much work it took to put it all together.

One thing you could do is incorporate some height in the back as a way to showcase some of the pieces you have up front but that are facing away.
You could make it look like X-23 is on a ledge surveying the scene, Professor X is coordinating the battle from up on high, Magik just opened a portal to strike at a Sentinal's mid-section, etc.

But that's easy for me to say, because I'm not the one who would have to build it
I can barely put 2 statues on a shelf without adjusting them 10 times until I'm satisfied.
I can't imagine having to do it with all of those pieces and on such a large scale.

All-in-all a great job and a fantastic setup!

You are right. It was also my first intention. But there are some limitations because of the lightinstallatation. All of it is standing on some Kallax-Parts from IKEA und then 2 wodden plates. Above this comes the underground "Gravel". I bought it from a Toytrainstore. The area is 1,20m x 1,80m, means 3.94 feet x 5.91 feet.

Looking great...bit of a shame you have some looking away but space limitations and all...also probably more realistic. You have a picture of the display from the front (not at an angle)?
