Yeah i don't mean to sound like i'm having a go at this piece. I think it looks great, but as Northernlad put it, we're getting the bare minimum.

Tweeterhead EX WW gives three sets of switch out arms (fists, fists with bullet effect and sword/shield) and two different torso designs (classic and modern)for $250. Food for thought.

Anyways, no more derailing this thread
Yeah exactly, i should have mentioned Tweeterhead also. I hear Iron studios Hulk will come with 4 heads!

You're right i won't derail any longer. i'm gone

Good to see the unboxing production piece turned out well. Wonder Woman is on my wants list. Given HOW many they've made, i've decided to wait until 2019 and wait for the deals (10% off + free shipping etc) to arrive

The incentive to pre-order is so low these days (though recent low edition sizes on things like Doomsday are a step in the right direction) - so few things sell out/go for above retail. And then when you see the free ship/bonus rewards deals on recent releases (there was just a deal on the new Cap America), it becomes an even easier decision.

Hopefully SS goes to a more strict MTO model for exclusives, or includes 2-3 extra pieces to make the price worth it.

I'm okay with Sideshow charging an extra $10 for Exclusives, but $10 and no free shipping = forget it.

I agree. Only a couple ex's recently that would motivate me to shell out an additional $70 after shipping.

For me, the lasso centric pose is what makes this special.

Also the fact that Harbottle absolutely nailed the proper figure/hand/arm attitude for that pose.

A fresh pose, uncommon in this media, that is both emblematic of the character AND superbly realized adds up to a huge win in my book. Even when I strongly dislike the rebirth costume, as well as the mandatory sword and shield on her back.

Normally those would amount to deal killers for me on something this expensive. Unfortunately for my savings, too much else with this is too well done to let it easily pass by.

Hashtag Same. I ordered her minus the skirt. My niece pointed out that the skirt would only work if she’s also wearing her gladiator wedges. Eeow! =(^.^)=

That one is similar to the last two figures in your pic in that the lasso is not so much a lasso for the pose as it is simply a generic prop. Swap out the lasso for a sword, shield or staff with those figures and nothing needs to be demonstrably changed with regards to the figures attitude.
With the Hughes one the lasso is being used as a design element, but even then it's just a facile flourish.

The only one where the lasso is inherent to what the figure is shown doing is the first one and the SS PF.

Comparing how well each of those two statues executes their action, it becomes a matter of taste which one you prefer, I suppose.

For me, there is such a profound difference in skill and knowledge displayed between the two as there would be comparing a drawing by Michelangelo vs a cartoon by Bob Kane (and not a quality Kane ghost, but Kane himself).

Eh, maybe that's not fair. Kane was actually a miserable draftsman and that statue really isn't that bad. Just nowhere near the level of the Harbottle one (IMO of course).
