Small update today.

Received these in the mail today, ordered a few sketches from the art of Disney store on my vacation in Orlando. Very happy with how they came out. Just need some frames now.

Both times collecting statues shin was right at the start.

Little backstory on akuma.....

the original shin akuma was the very first piece I owned back in 07 or 08, followed by evil ryu and reg ryu. Those three were sold when my son was born to cover the medical costs. Once I was more settled in my life I was able to pick up the shin and the reg ryu ( I met my buddy joppula with that purchase ), so this one is the second shin I've owned. Yeah, I like it that much. Just something about it.

These are awesome! I'm a huge Disney fan. I always try to get a little something whenever I'm there. Before collecting statues I always admired the Mickey Jedi statue. Now I wish I would have bought one.

Thanks Gary! Jedi Mickey is a nice looking piece. I'm really just starting to dig into Disney collectibles myself. The art of Disney store is my favorite one in the whole place. Some of the pieces in there are so beautiful like the gallery of light boxes. Those really impressed me. I will definitely be growing my Disney collection in the future. I have my eye on a maui and Moana figurine I discovered yesterday.

Overall, I'm fairly satisfied with the end result. It was a fun project and a good learning experience. It's big enough and heavy duty enough to handle quite a bit. My next few will go smoother and turn out a bit nicer since I'll be able to streamline the job.
