SS, Fedex, UPS and VAT in EU/UK

I've just had it confirmed statues coming from SS through should be charged at 5% rate VAT not 17.5%, I'm getting a refund on my previous 2 Bowen Hulks and my Punisher comiquette came through this week with correct VAT charge, so check your receipts UK guys and make sure your not paying too much.

Hey mate, good news. How much did your Punisher come to (fedex bill only please). Odd how you ordered a week after me and I'm still waiting for my invoice. It's been two weeks now.

Thanks mate, that's really good if they stick to this 5%! I don't see any reason now for statue's not to order from SS. Forbbidenplanet.com's prices are so high now, ie Yoda PF is £350!

How does the VAT and whatever customs fees there may be charged?

Do the Fedex guy come up to the door and say pony up?

Or is there a bill you have to pay within 3 days or so?

Fedex send you a bill a week or so later they charge £10 admin fee but unfortunately the VAT has now gone up to 20%
