What is there to say? It?s the same exact car they first put out. This time, it will come with a $100-200 price increase.

didn't the first release come with the shield?

doesn't look like this one does

the shield was awesome but i believe that was how a good portion of the G1 89 Batmobiles got their scratches near the hatch.

Jazz Inc claimed that HT 89 Batmobile was not movie accurate. They pointed out a few issues and said that they would come up with a 100% accurate version of it.

I suppose HT didn't address any of those issue in this re-released version.

Why should they? If you made something that looked this good would you give in to correcting nitpicks?
It sold well enough and is loved enough to warrant a good secondary market value and a rerun.

I mean I get wanting absolute accuracy or as close as possible but goodness WHAT is wrong with this ? No one has managed to point that out just keep referring to there being a superior version.

It looks a bit nicer but I'm fine with the original version.

There are a few long posts on FB about the inaccuracies. Off the top of my head, the fins and a few other spots around the car are not the right shape. For me, even though the HT version will be ~$700 cheaper, I?m always willing to pay more for accuracy and better materials. Not to mention, there is nothing stopping HT from releasing a 3rd version in the future. I don?t support these lazy no ES re-issues.

But saying that, still think it?s a great vehicle for the price.
Nobody will notice the inaccuracies, except you?
