This is the real money shot for me
One thing I like far more here than on the bust, and for which I had expectations would be a source of annoyance for me with the bust, are how the blood streaks are applied.
On my bust, and others I've seen, it looks like someone dipped a brush in paint and ran it across the face. The strokes both start with a nice, fat glob of paint and wipes evenly across. Too thick, too steady, too uniform.
Some people's bust have it applied with better variance than others. But it always concerned me that that variable would inevitably be there. I can live with the application on mine, but it's definitely the one false note for me. Which is why I would have been happier if they had just left it off entirely.
But this here- on the 1:4- has that random density and scatter as it's pulled across, and especially that variation at the initial start close to the nose, that looks true.
But then, who knows if that will be maintained in the production pieces?
