I feel the same.
This is the real money shot for me

One thing I like far more here than on the bust, and for which I had expectations would be a source of annoyance for me with the bust, are how the blood streaks are applied.

On my bust, and others I've seen, it looks like someone dipped a brush in paint and ran it across the face. The strokes both start with a nice, fat glob of paint and wipes evenly across. Too thick, too steady, too uniform.

Some people's bust have it applied with better variance than others. But it always concerned me that that variable would inevitably be there. I can live with the application on mine, but it's definitely the one false note for me. Which is why I would have been happier if they had just left it off entirely.

But this here- on the 1:4- has that random density and scatter as it's pulled across, and especially that variation at the initial start close to the nose, that looks true.

But then, who knows if that will be maintained in the production pieces?

I have the Prime 1 Alita and I agree with you. I like the prototype face of the QS Alita better too.

The headsculpt, arms, base and pose look great but they need to fix the clothing or go fully sculpted..

Hmmm, $15000 or $750

I think I may go the more economical route on this one.

Another economical route is the 1/6th scale:
Hot Toys Alita: Battle Angel - Alita MMS520

I just pick up Alita (new) from ToysWonderland
Price: $204.00 USD

Currently sold out at Sideshow Collectibles
SSC price: $260.00 USD

Over on ebay at the moment, the lowest price for a new Hot Toys Alita is $300.00 USD
The highest price being $757.00 USD from a Japanese seller

I'm sure that's a mistake they didn't catch. On the Spec page they have Q4 2023, which sounds a little more reasonable.

Seems to be moving briskly.
