Elite Creature Collectibles (ECC) at Monsterpalooza 2023

I don't think ECC is getting enough love for the great offerings they exhibited at Monsterpalooza. I posted these pics on FB, but thought I'd share them here, as well.

Question - does Cinemaquette still make pieces? Are they still in business? Or is it all ECC now?

Cinemaquette is at least still the sole distributor of ECC pieces. I think they've become so accustomed to each other there really isn't a difference.

That is because they basically ARE the same company, both are under the Toynami umbrella and owned by the same person.

I get that, but no new collectibles are under the Cinemaquette line?

Yeah I thought Steve was part owner in ECC though.

I think it's all just technicalities. The Faun Maquette shows as a joint project while the Faun Bust is ECC only of course still distributed by Cinemaquette and all pieces made by the Toynami factory.

My biggest concern is matching what was advertised. The Faun bust they delivered is maybe their lowest point, unacceptable.
The price of E.T. is back up there and he's big and easy to paint so it gives me hope

Still reluctant to place a P.O. for it though production pieces sight unseen.
Yeah they always say the advertised is the factory sample but the factory has definitely been fudging it past those samples.

Thanks for posting this!

This is my concern as well. I remember almost ordering their Faun, then seeing how HORRIBLE the production pieces came out compared to the prototype.

I'm interested in the Hellboy and Abe Sapien...are these 1:1 busts? Are they some kind of resin? Silicone?

Any more info out there?
