The old anime, the movies and the newer anime don't do justice at all for this amazing Manga. I seriously recommend reading the manga. The anime and movies are considered total crap compared to the manga.

The manga is best, but I've enjoyed all of the mediums in which its story has been told (interestingly the recent game was a letdown - that should have been a home run for me as I'm also a fan of that type of gameplay).

I'm curious, while I know prime 1 ships statues before sideshow does, all of the statue dates line up on prime 1 and with sideshow, the only difference being zodd. While all the other statues' dates match on both sites, the zodd appears to release in august-October from prime 1 but October-December for sideshow. I thought this might be normal since they release earlier from them directly, but no other statue displays this.

Yeah, SS is always a couple months behind P1
I don’t think Zodd is gonna sell out, at least not the reg until a year after it’s release. I was going to preorder him this summer but realized this. I need to be able to push him back a few more months so I can finish paying Griffith and my Megatron BW statues.
And the ex isn’t that great to begin with IMO.
The overall statue does have a lot of bang for your buck, at 35” a $1,000 is a steal!
Which baffles my mind as to why Griffith is $1,000 ?? Makes little sense that he would be at the same price point.
