If you look at all recent released statues from SSC.. they are all under retail on eBay ...

just wait until released and get it at least $50-$100 cheaper

I guess you could say the promo is retro active since the free shipping deal has been live since the item went on sale. TMNT, MotU, captain marvel, Supergirl, Huntress, Hell priestess etc. all have free shipping on regular. Must be a new way to get rid of the regulars.

I'm not sure why you would discount the item everyone wants? Plus early adopters are way more likely to pay full price than the fence sitters. You don't make up for a loss on each unit with volume as my professor used to say.

I understand your point but you are referring to unit sales. These are preorders. Nobody has received this statue yet. In the end I will pay more for an item than someone who waited and will get the item at the same time.

It's a combination of things. For example green Goblin...I paid full shipping plus a 30% exchange plus another $160 in customs & duties. It's a killer.

Let's see, GG cost $520 US. Using exchange rate of 74 cents would make it valued at $732.39. So, 13% HST should be $95.21. Now add duty of 6% will be $43.94. So, you should be paying about $139.15 (plus $10 FedEx fee if you don't have a FedEx account).

Frig, any way you look at it, it is expensive.
