Incidentally, if anyone lost money on the first PO, it sounds like maybe this new studio is doing something for those people, based on this FB post by the sculptor:

Franco Carlesimo: Finally Vara is done. Check it out. and if you order her already ,Contact them. Cheers!!!!

Funny my comment early in this thread felt this was overpriced 4 years ago, now it feels like a great and fair price.

The website link from SPEC to 'Them' gives the same website style and text as with Legion Studios. So 99% the same guy is behind this re-release.

My thoughts about this statue:

> First the casting quality of this proto does not look hi-tier. Some air holes and damages in the casting and a wobbly base.
> On the Reventure website no mentioning this is really 1/4 scale and the height is indicated as only 46cm (18inch total) while she is 'flying' and has wings above her head. Imo for 1/4 this should be at least around 58.5cm (23inch) Current 46cm max 1/5.
> Rough hair style, unfortunately lack of details.
> And yes the faces are slightly less than first render.

I do agree with your points about the hair and such. It would be nice to know if this was a print, or a cast from a mold.

As for scale, I didn't really think there was an issue based on this pic, but I also didn't throw it into PS to test measurement, TBF. I'll have to do that later today

Didn't order this before, but definitely wouldn't consider ordering it now from a company that basically just took a bunch of money and ran :|

We should confirm if Dave Cassi has anything to do with this new producer before we start lighting the torches.

I saw this on Spec today and knew I had seen it somewhere before. I like how it looks, but it does have the issues that Halcyon pointed out, and there is the fact that it left people hanging the first time. Very nice design though, and would be a shame if this is a repeat of the first time.

Thx for that picture.
Yes I like(d) the design too.

But looking at this FB picture, I think the given size 46cm (18inch) is correct. Compare it with the small Vallejo paint bottles. This is not 1/4 and then the $1000+ bucks with shipping is too much anyway.
Spec should contact them about size and change his selling title accordingly.

Original Legion dimensions were:

Estimated Dimensions:

Height: 24 Inches

Width: 27 Inches (23 without sword)

Depth: 15 Inches

I've asked Todd at Spec Fiction for clarification/confirmation.
