While I do hope they do a swap out of the crossbow for the whip(?) that is in the portrait it is not going to dissuade me from ordering this right away. I just have to wait till Cinderella clears first.

So during the Booth Tour they had a full collection of the line. Looks like Red is in scale with Cinderella but since she is on a hill she just looks taller.

Not sure about the crossbow....

I can tell there is new art direction at SS.

We were told the bases would be interesting. Well you can't really get anymore boring than a black base with snow and a dead twig.

The fact that we had to wait so long for this, kind of disappointing.

Is this going to be based on his new FTF prints? I can see similarities between this piece and the print of her standing over the wolf in bed, but it deviates way too much from it.

I like this one a lot. The claw trees are pretty neat.

Still don't think I'd ever buy one from this line, but if I did it would be this one.

You mean the stupid twigs?
They could have put more time and effort into those trees and really made them creepy.

I like them. They've got that Snow White, scary tree vibe. Admittedly they look more like branches reaching out from the ground though.

Finally off work, I just had a chance to really look at Red and she isn't really 19 inches tall.

The extra height is coming from the tree branches in the forest. With out that, MS Riding Hood is actually Cinderella's height about 16 to 17 inches roughly.

I love the base, it tells a lot of story, I wouldn't have minded if they had add a little more detail, but this is just the initial reveal dechirico7. Give it a little time, it might grow on you.
