XM has really, really evolved in their female portraits. I love this piece so much. I'm still holding out hope that one of her portraits doesn't have the darker skin tone and that all three portraits don't have white eyes.

Hard to tell, but looks like the portrait in the bag on the right has pupils.... and less dark shadowing around the eyes.

There is really nothing to say about the sculpt, it looks phenomenal. However, the red color worries me. It's not popping enough, it's, maybe appropriately, a bit too sinister.

Hopefully it looks better in person, though i already have it reserved.

I think so too. Or at least hope since that's the calm before the storm portrait. I HOPE they kept them green and didn't make them red. This statue needs some color other than red/orange/black.

It's sooooo dark maroon. The photos we have all seen have been dark in color, so maybe with a more well lit photo we will see some variation. Or at least I'm hoping so.

Adding a shine to the maroon wouldn't help it much. Then it would just look cheap. It's funny, Sideshows is a too bright a red. XM's is the dark maroon I always pictured her suit, but didn't think it would be this dark. I wish there was a happy medium.

I REALLY like the texturing on the chest of the suit. And the seams. Usually I would think that was odd, but a cosmic entity can design a suit any damn way she wants

I think you're right. The original concept photo had that calmer head having pupils.

Definitely agreed on the maroon! It needs to be RED. And yes, Sideshow's was too bright. I would have never thought finding the right red was so difficult.

Or maybe they went the charred route?

much better than Green Phoenix,which was looking awkard in some angles,, probably could have done with less flames around the legs so as not to cover the beautiful sculpt,,
