That's not even considering the amazing exclusives, the raw processing and graphical power, the easy and instant social media sharing, all of the bonuses that will come with PS+, and the incredible support of independent gaming development and publishing. Sony has hit every single note perfectly. Unless Microsoft drastically changes the mission objective and some aspects of their hardware, they don't stand a chance.

I've been playing video games since I was 6 years old and I am always buying all of the consoles in the market.
After the original xbox I was always on Microsoft side and I have a huge xbox360 games collection since its my favorite console , but this time Microsoft will not get my money unless they change their policy about online, kinect and used games
I think Sony learned a good lesson from the PS3 and they are going to win the industry again.

that is one UGLY looking console
regardless it'll likely be a year or two anyway before I jump into this "next-gen" of consoles so I'm sure there will be a Slim redesign or something down the line. Either way, its likely PS4 for me (sorta sad to leave MS but I can't support their BS this time)

I'm a gamer first and try not to hold any allegiance to a system. I have almost every system and there are some systems that I have more games for than others but that's just because I like the games. For sure I will be preordering a PS4. As for Xbox one, well I hope MS gets the message quickly and changes their mind about their BS policies because there are games I'm sure I would love to play on Xbox.

Good to see Sony has done the right thing and put gamers first. I like the look of the console, looks quite futuristic. It's certainly better than the no thought gone into it design of the Xbone.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Same here, for the last 2 gens I have bought the Microsoft console first, I hope they take a beating at launch so they have to drop the price and go back on some of their used game restrictions.
Its a shame because I loved the original Xbox and the 360 is still my primary console, the one fear I have with the PS4 is that I wont be able to get to grips with the controller, I''m not fussed on the DS3, but they do seem to have made improvements.
