Sam Fisher (from Splinter Cell videogames) Premium Format Statue by Triad Toys

Sorry if old.

======

Personally, I don't much care for that portrait of Fisher. I also noticed that the SC-20K (the gun)on his back is too small. It should be much bigger.

This pic here shows the correct scale for the gun:

I hope they fix these concerns, 'cause I would be interested in getting one if it's done right.

Saw it at the SDCC, cool figure but I still love the statue by Oxmox many years ago.

If you played the game you'll know they changed the look of Sam throughout the series. I prefer the look in the first 2 games or first trilogy. Not sure what likeness did Triad went for... George Clooney would have been a perfect Sam if there was movie...now he's too old for this.

A shot of mine.

This is the tiny version of the piece.http://www.ebay.com/itm/SPLINTER-CEL...8#ht_682wt_881

The best Sam. I'd love to have a 1/3,1/4 piece with this look.

I know that Fisher's look changes a bit throughout the games, but I don't think this Triad figure looks anything like any of the iterations of Fisher from the games.

By the way, can you post some more pics of your Fisher statue? Maybe a shot or two of the whole figure. How big is it? Life size?

The statue is in 1/6. There were a total of 3 versions. Life size, 1/6 and the 4" version on eBay.

Here's another 4-5 years old shot of mine.

And are the official shots. Life size.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the Splinter Cell games as well, ever since the very first. Still own them all to this day. But I have to agree, I look at that face sculpt and I don't see the Sam Fisher from any of the games...even though said likeness has changed in almost every game anyhow so there almost isn't one definitive Sam Fisher face to begin with, the way there is with so many game characters.

I like most of the rest of it though, even if a few aspects to seem to be sculpted a little simplistically...still, compared to what has come before. And I love that the goggles light up (though they don't look so good unlit). And given that I'd display him with the goggles head anyhow I'm not sure if the likeness would really bother me that much on this piece. Hmmm, decisions decisions....

Anyway thanks for posting that, I hadn't heard about it, but I've wanted a Sam Fisher statue for years, so I'll definitely have to keep an eye on this one.

This is a tough one. I don't remember Sam being so... ugly. Even with his goggles on the ug factor creeps through. Also the sculpt looks a little soft. On the other hand I love the light-up green base and goggles, and it's a pretty cool pose. Need more pics.

Yess at last a 1/4 Sam Fisher.

I feel the same about the likeness. Not really a good match to him from any of the games

What else has Triad done? I'm not really familiar with them.

Are they the guys that did the Tekken 1/4 pieces?
