Atheris, try the The RPF. One of the best prop and modeler forums around, even Adam Savage from MythBusters is a member there and regularly posts and works with members on prop replica projects he's doing I got my RC SD built up by an RPF member, and that second option is actually from an RPF member too :P Actually I believe the "prototype" that QMX originally was showing around was a Polar Lights buildup by a RPF member :P

+1 for the RPF, there's some serious talent on there.

I remember seeing a Randy Cooper Star Destroyer on there and my jaw hit the floor. i wanted it soooo bad and I don't even like Star Wars that much.
