No. This was a change made during pre-production.
All Megs already have purple cannons. This email was a boo boo.

Just unboxed and setup Optimus Prime exclusive. It’s my first prime 1 pice and it is frigging awesome. How can anyone want the movies pieces of these? Megatron is next also on payment plan. Should have him in a few months.
