^ Are you regretting tying up the funds for this that could have been spent on the upcoming Thor, or are you just over the piece in general?
I'm trying hard to resist doing the same with my PO, but it is going to be coming in at a bad time.

Don't want to give it up though, as I still think it's the Cap that's classic enough to satisfy that itch for me, while also being a solid center piece.
I'll have to see what the ding is going to be with the shipping and then go from there.

Short of SS doing a 1/2 scale at some point, I don't foresee another large classic comic book style version of this character being produced for a while. Even if it was, SS 1/2 scales were creeping over $2K before shipping years ago. One of the reasons I jumped on it was that even with the original lower ship estimate factored in, it was still competitively priced compared to any domestic distributor's products. I see that only getting worse in the future (and I'll be surprised if they price Thor anywhere close to how the priced this one).
This, like Level52 with it's first Frazetta pieces, seemed to be a case of a relatively new company trying to make an inaugural big splash in the market thru lower pricing and the good will/ word-of-mouth that will engender.

With your first product you want to do the opposite of over-promising and underdelivering.

it's a space issue, i'd like to get cap and thor, but i probably only have space for Cap at best, and if i can't get both then I'd just keep my 1/4 scales and settle for that for my avengers display. Money isn't the issue honestly.

I’d keep it . It’s going to be beautiful let desperate collectors that got in late beg to buy it at a premium . Boom! You will make money on this just like Sideshows 1:2 Spiderman piece !!! My two cents

XM's monthly newsletter, out today, indicates this statue is 'shipping soon' - great news!

Think this was originally scheduled for a May/June release, so I guess the pandemic isn't holding this one up.

As for my Doc Ock pre-order, however....nowhere on the horizon

I saw that, super pumped! I’ve got a couple more payments left so that should work out pretty good for me. Then I can pick-up another pre-order in its place lol
