Yep, online reviews from happy customers describe it as water-proof and the sales blurb states -
"Made from the same material that's used at high-altitudes in the Himalayas, the Base Camp Messenger Bag is practically indestructible and ideal for rugged day-to-day use. Highly-durable, this bag's designed to tote a laptop up to 17 inches large, and still have ample room to stash anything else riders need to bring on a day's journey."
It even came with a guarantee against wear and tear damage because of the incredibly strong material and construction used.

Lastly, I transported 3 folios of artwork (a folio for Nicola Scott, Ardian Syaf and Ben Stenbeck's original pages) in mine from Perth to Sydney to SDCC, New York and LA on a variety of airlines without any difficulties. It fits within the size/volume guidelines for cabin baggage.

Is it water proof? In case you want to transport you artwork through the rain.
Are you alowed to take it inside an airplane (carry-on luggage)?
Thanks.
