Human Torch by Tony McVey

Hey does anybody here have had their Humam Torch on display for a while? I dont know if my eyes are playing tricks but it seems like mine is starting to lean. Is this statue known for this issue? Should I box it up for now?

Had this piece for a while and had no issues with lean. It's quite an old piece at this stage. Must be close to ten years if not longer when this was released.

Any collectible statue that is top heavy and has a part with no proper support would lean given time. Remember, our statues are not made of real stone. They are part plastic and even without constant high temperature, would eventually give in to gravity. This is why I never buy statues with tendencies to lean.

Ah well. Shame if it is the case as i think, with the F4 franchise becoming the weakest in the M.U amongst the heavy hitters, there wont be another Torch like this.

I have this piece as well.....no issues here....but I can see the illusion of leaning it may create if you keep staring at it.

I did a review of this statue a number of years ago. Maybe these pics will help.

Thanks Risingstar. Doesnt seem like mine's any different. Good to know and you're right on xman. It does seem like the longer you stare, the more it seems to have leaned.
