WILL THEY CANCEL AVENGERS WHEN HICKMAN LEAVES IN MAY?

I say yes....and then another relaunch of AVENGERS (and maybe) NEW AVENGERS. I think AVENGERS WORLD will be history.
Thoughts?

Whatever they do I just hope it's a writer I can tolerate on the title. Can't take anymore Hickman on books I want to read. First the F4 and now Avengers...no more long-winded stories!

it is a sure bet that they will relaunch all of those books with new directions. Avengers World will be gone and the other 2 differant paths. Especially since we have 7 more months of these titles the Avengers book will be close to 50 issues and that's way too high for a Marvel comic. I haven't enjoyed this run but since they are counting down to the end I might as well see it through.

He's not necessarily leaving in May. It sounds more like the two Avengers books are building towards the start of his big, final story in May. Whether that story takes place within those books or spins out into another event, we'll have to wait and see.

According to everything I've read over the last year, this is the final story line that will end in May, then he's off the book!

I hope he's off the book once this storyline finally "ends". I have not enjoyed his run on any of the Avengers books sadly.

I think there will be a relaunch to coincide with the movie next year.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I very much like Hickman's run on both Avengers titles as well as his run on Fantastic Four and FF. The Celestials/Franklin Richards/Galactus finale in the latter two books was epic.

I'd like to see Hickman take on two X-Men titles after Bendis is finished there.
