I really love stupid people. After going through all the nonsense to get my maquette, I wanted to make sure I got charged correctly on my credit card. I received a full refund for my statue and Hyperspace membership (which is still active).
Had a package delivered today, which turned out to be the original one with the wrong zip code, that's been bouncing around in the US Postal Service for a few weeks now. It wasn't scanned in and I didn't have to sign for it. So as of now I've got two Mace's and haven't been charged for either one.
I'd say that it was due to very helpful customer support, but in the end I beleive it's just their incompetence.
