I have to say that I am anxious to see comics printed on matte paper again. I thought it was cool when Marvel Fanfare was printed on cover stock because no comic was like that but I should not have to angle a comic because of the glare from a light. This is a move I am in favor of.

While I get most of my comic books in digital form these days, I really like the sound of this. Hopefully all comic books go back to the matte paper again.

well on Bleeding Cool's website when they did the story about Catwoman #1 being printed on matte paper it did say that more books would follow suit. (I do realize that sometime you do need to take things you read on that site with a grain of salt but hopefully that is something they are correct about.)

Kinda worried about how well this will sell since fans have been calling to cancel their pre-orders of Batman Issue 50 after the NY Times spoiler this weekend. People are pissed.

I think it's more about what happened in the Issue than the leak(Spoiler) itself.

That's actually how I feel and what I meant. I don't mind spoilers, but I hate what happens in the story.

Yeah, most people are upset because of what happened in the story itself not the leaked spoilers. That’s my understanding also.

Well Tom King said that the Batman/Catwoman story is not over and that he will be writing Batman until #100. If the book continues on its twice monthly schedule that issue would come out in Aug of 2020.

I was at Walmart and saw the new "Giant" magazines on display. The new matte paper is pretty nice, and yeah, no glare.

I read issue one. Wasn’t great, I won’t be staying with it.
