FYI, I asked my preferred retailer if I could "swap" for a bust with a better paint job if possible. They were perfectly keen on the idea considering how they know I archive these items for "posterity" on my site and wanted the best example possible. Unfortunately, they looked through their entire inventory and couldn't find one that looked any better! They were as shocked as I was about this. So those of you who got "decent" paint jobs - congratulations! They are rare... Eventually I'll find one that looks okay enough and the first one I got, I'll just repaint to perfection in my own time!
