I like the white better. Even if the price is the same as the grey, the price has me hesitating.

Shin Tanabe sculpted this piece which does beg to question where his mind was at during the process. Still though, I wouldn't call it a man's face, just not as cute as his other sculptures.

No, of course it's not a full on mans face, however, it looks like one of those transexual men. The nose is too big and the jawline too strong...
I'm going to have to pass on this....shame as I love this line.

Im a big fan of Luis Royo but the original version as the white version is a easy pass for me.

I agree. The juxtaposition is too much, and a contradiction in exposition. Remove the demonic cross and call her Angela, then it would work.

Aha, but perhaps that's where the ideal behind the white version lies. In an attempt to debunk the stereotype that white equals "good" and black equals "evil". This version works well at defining the misconception of duality as it stands in the current social mindset.
Overlay this with our real world history, how many clergymen have been in actuality monsters? and how many of those who society would demonise have been heroes (from a certain perspective)? Jeanne d'Arc is a classic example of the fallacy of "good" and "evil"......

It does look like a transman. Perhaps they are going for a new market...
