I like the idea of Medusa but never wanted the snake body because it's a bit too grotesque for my collection. This Medusa and the Shar-yn both look great.

Averone is Alex of ARH crew who was banned/left statue forum. And then you came and have been praising ARH in every post than you can.So we assume you are him.

I am pretty sure he was banned. He would have still been here pushing ARH if he could. I think people just got fed up with it. Every post he made, in every thread had him pushing for ARH sales after he invested into the company.

I think he got booted for pushing recasts though. Not absolutely sure.

I wasn't actually sure what the story for him was, or if he was still involved with ARH (or what he did in the first place ><). He doesn't post on either forum anymore it seems :<

Was gonna ask why was he banned guess that explains it, must have been some an aggressive advertiser for arh to get banned for it.

Ohhh... No, I'm not him. I do really like the ARH stuff though. The bigger scale (1/4), the well done, non anime semi-adult themed women, the magnetic clothes, that they are supporting thier statues with comics, Greek mythology pieces, that you get a feel for the artists because they are constantly doing YouTube vids and checking in forums like this, limited edition low production number pieces...

I guess I do sound like a comercial. But it's not like they even have any competitors. No one else is doing what they are. Maybe Yamoto if you like 1/6 models with editions numbered in the thousands. But they are the closest that I have seen. Plus I don't think my OCD would let me put two statues from different companies on the same wall anyway!

So yeah, I do hope they do well and make money and grow and continue to produce more work. I support the statues I like, both with purchases and with honest praise, in the hopes that, along with other people supporting it, those types of statues will continue to be released.

If people are looking for me to say something bad... I'm disappointed in the direction Astria seems to have gone, as I mentioned in that thread. But that's about it... I'm pretty damn happy with ARH.

Alex is still with us. He's a good dude. We've tried to put all that drama behind us. ARH is a very different company now. We still have a lot to learn. But I think we've grown up a lot too.
