Thank you again. Your help was very important.
Even if the Gem Mint reported the correct size of the sculpture, nothing better than two assessments, two diagnoses, two precise observations on the same sculpture.
So, as I promised, I come here to rectify the proportions of Captain XM in relation to this new Captain SS.
As I wrote a few pages back, Canale often makes his sculptures larger than the official sizes listed in the comic book character files. It's not what he does
the character on a scale of 1:3.5 or nothing like that, it just raises the character's height a few inches from what that character would be if it existed in the real world.
In this particular case, for example, he increased the size of the Captain by an inch and a half to the official 1:4 scale size.
Below, the height of Steve Rogers, according to the Marvel Comics database, and next, the height of Captain by Martin Canale.
He used the same strategy when sculpting the Batman Premium Format. The official height of Batman, coincidentally, is the same as Captain America, 6'2'', but Mister Canale made the Bat 6'8''. Apparently, he enjoys seeing heroes with an imposing and intimidating height.
