Yeah, wasn't there when that happened. But have to say ...when I started collecting comics when I was a kid, it was the X-Men that pulled me to Marvel. Then Spider-Man. Then the rest of Marvel after that.

I collected some Superman, Batman and Green Lantern. But the pull to the X-Men was stronger.

^ same with X-Men pulling me in as a Marvel fan. I was content with my Tim Burton’s Batman VHS and Superman: The Movie to keep me content with DC. Then the Marvel Masterpiece cards happened…

1993 Marvel Universe cards for me. I did like the Masterpiece ones but had all but one of the Universe set.

Same, X-Men were the biggest draw for me when I started reading comics. I hope the MCU does them justice as I think they have the best stories and characters of any other comic property.

Are the wonky eyes (direction, not color) on purpose?

Yeah, depending on where he is on the Joker to Jack spectrum, his eyes do this a lot in the story. Especially when he's consciously battling his two extremes.

This isn't the best example, but what I could find on a quick search...

Yes, the portraits are very off and at the same time its very XM. I don't know why they don't let someone else do there portraits and the paint app on the portraits. Seems Queen studios and Sideshow seem to do better apps and sculpts (for the most part) on the faces.

Doubt it, maybe the eyes drifted in shipping?
