My wife and I talked about that character for a while after the movie. Motivations, right/wrong, women's rights in the Viking age, stuff like that. I'm eager to discuss the scene that was very reminiscent of Conan the Barbarian.

Yes! Perceptions of reality and past due to trauma. Was she laughing or crying? Have to rewatch and see.
