SO to back things up I got gift cards for a book store that is pretty big in Canada. Had $200 worth. They also have a loyalty program where you get points per dollar spent and I have $20 worth of points. SO I had that money on my account since Christmas as I know they often have a buy 2 get 1 free deal once in awhile on certain publishers like Marvel or DC and this never seems to exclude omnibuses.

So the other week I got the email showing their deal for the week and sure enough there was a buy 2 get 1 free sale but for ALL comics. My plans had gone out the window as I had selections in case of either publisher but both I just had too many choices.

I kept adding and removing from my cart trying to make my choices. Finally my wife (who knew what I was doing) was just like, you should really treat yourself and get a bunch of books. Now I have learned that if your significant other gives you the ok you take it!

So I ended up with the haul of my life! I got all these omnis:

- Punisher MAX vol 2
- Batman by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale
- Carnage
- He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
- Batman Knightfall vol 3
- The Sandman vol 3
- The Thanos wars: Infinity Origins
- Venomnibus 1
- Venomnibus 2

I did the math and it is clocking in at over 9700 pages of comic goodness!
Wow... man, congratulations. Definetly a big haul. I was thinking about He-Man, but i don't know. You should definetly tell me about how it's. The Sandman, that's cream de la cream of comics... The best. I'm thinking about gettiing loeb&sale Batman but i haven't decided yet that if i should get it as omnibus or absolute. Punisher Max is the best punisher run ever.

In my opinion, Sale's artwork is reason enough to get those stories in absolute format.

Thanks, I agree Supreme Power was a very good series. It's highly unlikely at this point that an omnibus would ever be released so I settled for the individual hardcovers

I love Agents of Atlas and look forward to rereading that series. They are my second favorite team after the X-Men.

Agents of Atlas huh... i hear about them alot around here lately. I don't know though... Just too many titles to get... Being open minded has its down side. If i was only into Marvel, i would be able to get eveything Marvel but i give anything equal chance, even if DC has a special place in my heart, i also get Marvel, Image, Top Cow, Valiant and many different mangas from many different manga companies... And i get statues and figures... so i'm not able to check out everything... But i try... xD
