I'm not sure I'm brave enough to try that. After all the hassle getting this statue here, I'd be heartbroken if I broke it

The longer it sits on the base, the more it may stretch on it's own. My rex had a similar issue, but it settled down more and more the longer it was displayed. I just tried pushing down every few weeks and eventually it got almost down all the way.

Congrats buddy, and awesome pictures.

Sorry about the leg, but i'd say just do what Stingray suggested and wait. My Rex also had the same problem and it simply fixed itself with time.

Thanks guys! Hard to believe 21 years ago I was horrified over the Spino killing a T-Rex, and now I own a statue of the dang thing

Stingray and Vick, thanks for that tip. As it stands right now (no pun intended), the right leg is just barely off the mark, so it's possible after a few weeks it'll slowly settle into the proper position.

Wow, what a difference a day makes! The right foot just settled into place all of the sudden. This morning it was still wonky.

No prob, glad that worked for you.

I hated that Spino scene when I saw it first too, seemed like a poor writing decision to do in the Rex like that. Still hard to let it go even today, which is why I didn't get this one, but statue did turn out well.
