So when I see Adam Hughes at NYCC,will name dropping make it easier for me ro get a sketch from him.

Ummm...... that would be a negative as he's not sketching at all (other than the ebay pieces and the quickie head sketches which he does for charity).
You're welcome to try but I doubt it will get you anywhere
