Right it seems that zero sellers have it with the base and I dislike ordering anything from China when it could easily be a recast.

It bothers me that
A. it doesnt come with the base and
B. Sugo didnt bother to update the photos or description.
So if I do get the first release, I'd basically be stuck with it.

You have to remember that it doesn't come with the base for a reason.

These weren't supposed to be sold. They were simply free replacements for people who bought the original production run. As such they would already have a base.

And I'm not sure if Queen ever did provide updated promotional material to any one.

Frankly, if it was being sold as new and did come with a base, chances are that it would be a recast in that particular case.
