Sorry to hear about your troubles with the Batman statue.

Thanks morty76. It sucks to have to wait this long to have the statue on the collection. I know sometimes we nitpick to much, but for the price that I paid for this guy I cannot spect less than a statue with no flaws, at least no this noticeable.

That does stink BUT it is not like it is a perfect window. Just pretend they were scratched by Batman as he was breaking through it

LOL, yo be honest a thought about pretending that too. But at the end the wife convinced me to ask for another statue.

I received the statue and had some QC issue. 1. broken glass, 2. paint defect on cape, 3 label on the bottom of the base not glued well. Even without these issues, I'm not that thrilled about it personally now that I have it person. I really wanted to like it based on recent reviews and the amazing dynamic pose. Base is great with amazing details, cape is huge and awesome, concept is the true selling part of this piece, but when it comes to details on the suit it's just lacking. My 7yr old son kept on commenting on how plastic it looks and I would agree. My biggest gripe is that the paint job on my piece wasn't that great. The mesh part around the shoulder was just sloppy like the earlier pictures that came out and the loss of detail around the cape (actually this didn't bother that much as the paint). I think I will be returning it and wait for P1's BATMAN HUSH BATCAVE..which will probably be the definitive batman for a long time. I currently have the OG XM Batman Samurai and the P1 Batman Beyond...I love both of these pieces. Not knocking anyone for having this piece or discouraging. It just didn't do it for me, personally.

If you’re not happy, returning it is absolutely the right decision.

Did you email Prime 1 after service yet? They will take care of you if you do and get you replacements.

Thanks for the help. I purchased from Sideshow and emailed them about the issues. Auto-reply says it will take them 7-10 business days to respond to my email. In the mean time I've packed up the statue back into the boxes.

BTW, for those who have not received the statue..it's HUGE, heavy in a positive way and fun to put together. Crack open a beer or drink and take your time. The not so fun part, is packing it up...if you ever have to return or sale.

Does anyone think this will be available back at Sideshow? The exclusive is currently waitlisted. I have heard some people say once something goes waitlisted it can eventually convert to back in stock. I am new to high end statue collecting, so just curious! This is one I definitely want in my collection.
