Saw Avatar in 3D and we never wanted to see another 3D movie again. We've broke the rule a few times when forced to get the best theater but luckily those days are passing.
3D was never ever anything more than a hyped marketing gimmick to milk some more just like the $8 Cokes. It looks worse and it's painful to watch.

The only Marvel movie I've seen in 3-D was the 1st Thor one & we kinda had to, seeing as how that was the only show showing when I brought my young kids to the movies. I'll I really remember seeing, was Natalie Portman's big bare feet swingin' back & fourth in 3-D as her character & Thor had a wrap sitting atop some high-point. I remember thinking then ... "Wow ... Jane Foster's stinking feet swinging around ... glad I spent the extra $5 a ticket." Never again. Also, wearing specs w/ 3-D glasses on just sucks.

Agreed. I saw Avatar in 3D as well, and hated the 3D. It gave me a headache and made me nauseated. I've only gone to the 2D movies since then.

I have a 3D TV and watch movies all the time. It uses the same glasses as the Cinema 3D glasses in the theater. Never bothers me but my girlfriend can't stand it. She gets really bad headaches after a short period watching 3D. So if she is watching with me I put in the 2D version.
