Wow she looks amazing... so far. I hope they can nail that portrait for her. They have gotten a lot better at female portraits recently but still have some work to do. Wish I could expand the Xmen collection to add Mystique, but I need storm and cyclops from XM first

Hopefully XM gets out their skull obsession with Mystique since it's appropriate.

You just know we have to have a classic bob portrait. That one could be chain free.
I wonder if they would do something showing her morphing? Like have half a leg or arm that was phasing back to her natural form. Not sure how that would render out in 3D, but just wondering if they thought of it.

I would love a bob portrait for a switch out (minus chain). I also think a morphing arm or leg would be really cool as long as they painted it right.
Very excited to see more of her. Mystique is one of my most favorite Marvel females along with Storm, Jean/Phoenix, and Emma Frost (which they confirmed in the Ask XM thread)!!!

I'm hoping that Emma is her Hellfire look since well.....SS' was a miss. Though I bet they go with her Astonishing (Cassaday) design since it is simple and allows for ease of diamond parts without bad seams (torso split).
That wouldn't be too bad because his clean design is my second favorite look for the psychic (now diamond) hooker.
Man oh man, what look has XM chosen for Mystique?!

Please no "diamond" for Emma. It always looks so horrible, like cheap plastic - nothing like diamond.
But, back to Mystique. I hope it's her white dress and not the black outfit like the PF. I had the comiquette and sold it because I hated the odd size and super dark skin.

I agree with the sentiment expressed above-lose the chain, classic white outfit but keep it simple. This is one where the closer you stick to the source material, the better. The allure of Mystique was always that rich, blue skin again the simple white plunge of her costume.
Personally I would love to see a switch out head with her classic straight bob hair also.
