we talked again and he said he wants for me to come and that he and mom want to see me and that we can look at old pictures

but he says at the same time how he doesn't want to know anything about my current life

I don't know what to do, I've been through enough frankly. I nkow they are hurting and crying though. Its just that i could tell from the way they spoke to me they think I'm a bad person now and that the good son they knew is totally gone. That hurts a lot. I'm still a good guy, dammit

Not to be a pessimest, but it's going to end badly. They don't want you, they want the idea of what you used to act like. They don't want to know Mike, they want to pretend. If you can pretend around them for awhile, then in a few months they'll bring all this back up again and tell you that you're not gay, and try and get to to go back to God, ect. It's a vicious cycle. Highly religious people are not accepting of others, and really, JW are one of the worst in general on this.

They also don't seem to care that they are hurting you. They do care about you, in their own way, but they want you to be something you're not. I've seen people try and deny it before. They are not happy people and never will be. If they do settle down, they are in horrible marriages with horrible kids.

Well, I don't think they will be happy with my look at all. I grew a beard since I went.

Jeff is coming over right now at least, so I got some support. But, I want to trust it will go ok. But my brain tells me it won't.

And, yes Icey, I can tell you that jw's are the worst at that.
