I think Aloy's price is more understandable due to her dynamic pose, complexity, and detail. Aragorn seems to be much simpler yet is basically the same price. Perhaps Aragorn's base is more difficult to make than we think with it essentially comprising of 3 unique busts, leading to the higher price. I personally think he should've been $900 at most for the DX though.

To me the Ex should've been the elaborate themed Army of the Dead base and a more basic environmental base could’ve been offered as a reg @ $300 less. But what do I know except they’ve lost me on this entire line as a result of going with this price point.

No, the likeness is not great, nose is too big.

Even for the well off collector they got to still be hesitant and one of the exclusive portraits looks exactly the same as the regular.

they have bust on a bunch of their bases look at a lot of there 1/3 pieces there just painted the same color as the base.

he's pretty much the same price as 1/3 batman damned.

i think I'm going to pass. $900 plus shipping would have been fair and i would have been in.

yeah thats cool. i got a bunch of arcades for just a few hundred bucks a pop on craigslist and offer up and those things got presence.

plain and simple when things start getting to inflated theres a lot of other cool stuff you can put that cash into.

I might be out on this 1/4 line and just pick up the Balrog/Gandalf dio.

Can't believe I paid less for 1/3 TDKR than this. That statue has 3 heads and many switchouts too. I'm not here for 1/4 scale at $1000 being a new normal. No thanks.

Exactly what I did. I bought the Dio and I'm extremely happy with that PO but at this price point it really doesn't feel worth it. I'm going to pass on this line unfortunately and stick to the Dio...
