You have to kill the monster on the ground. Then grab his spike javalin thing. When the Snow monster drops his hand on the ground walk towards it. This will have you jumping all around him where you need to press 4 diffrent buttons when prompted. Then jab the thing in his head. Do this 4 or 5 times.
