Me too. My girlfriend and I looked at each other after the film and breathed a collective sigh of relief. It was that intense. We both loved it and she even went as far as to say its the best film we've seen together theatrically.

NO! If you have the opportunity to watch the Firefly series before the Serenity movie then please do! I rewatched the entire series shortly before seeing the movie in the theater and was very thankful for the emotional attachment I had developed for the characters while watching the film which would not have been there had I not seen the series beforehand.

It's only half a season so it shouldn't take you long anyway.

Yeah, Hellboy already talked me into it with an earlier post. I won't see the movie until I see the series. You have solidified it even further. Thanks.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I was in Australia last week and visited the real Hanging Rock. Very beautiful place.

Pour Elle (aka Anything For Her) 9/10
excellent French thriller, recently remade as The Next Three Days, will watch that one soon.

Breakin' 7/10
sequel more fully embraces the cheese, and that's saying something. Still a cool movie. For my next Lucinda Dickey fix, it looks like another look at Ninja III The Domination is in order.

Salsa (2000)9.5/10
very cute and enjoyable French romantic comedy.

Iberia 10/10
Fados 10/10
Carmen 9.5/10
El Amor Brujo 9/10
Flamenco 9/10
a selection of beautiful performing arts focused works by the legendary Spanish director Carlos Saura.
