I hope you guys are right. I just read my earlier posts and realized I’m being far to pessimistic.
Just hearing Eisenberg’s voice in the teaser sent me into a tirade.

Well, that is perfectly understandable. A couple of the casting choices were two of the worst in history.

I hear the Snyder critiques all the time. Specifically, to Superman, I am old enough to have seen the first Donner/Reeves’ Superman, and to have read just about every Superman comic from 1980-early 2000s (including when they were putting out a new Superman comic out every week - a rotation of Action, Superman, Man of Steel and Adventures of), Snyder’s Superman is the live action version I prefer by far.
This is my Superman. He is noble, sympathetic, self-sacrificing, heroic. Qualities found also in Donner’s Superman, but the appreciation of those values speak louder to me in the world that Snyder has created.
And this not me being anti-Marvel. I thoroughly enjoy the majority of the Marvel movies (I was in the theater cheering Cap’s ridiculously cool moment in Endgame), but I would easily prefer a Snyder “Man of Steel 2” over another Russo brothers’ Marvel flick.
Simply put, you and I are already conditioned to loathe or love Snyder’s JL cut next year. I’m obviously in the latter. I have little doubt that everyone who found little joy in MOS and BVS, will hate the JL cut.

Agreed to all of the above! We have similar tastes. I thoroughly enjoyed MOS and BVS and was hyped for JL only to be let down when it was released. It did not follow the tone and direction of MOS and BVS.
My top 3 MCU films:
1) Avengers Infinity War
2) Captain America: The Winter Soldier
3) Iron Man
My top 3 DCEU films:
1) BVS
2) MOS
3) Wonder Woman
For me Infinity War was a better film than Endgame IMO although I did enjoy Endgame. I feel that many enjoyed Endgame more.
Zack Snyder’s JL teaser that was just released feels more in line with what was supposed to come out. That 35 second teaser gave me goosebumps and was better than the entire theatrical JL film! I definitely miss the original scores that were missing from JL theatrical cut. MOS and BVS scores are masterpieces!
Highly anticipating Zack Snyder’s JL!!!

Damn it. I don’t want to join another streaming service. I’m sure there’s gonna be a blu Ray at some point.

Unfortunately, that's not how it works. Just like if you have the Disney Channel you still need to pay for Disney Plus.

Even if you have HBONOW or HBOGO, HBOMAX is its own thing.
I imagine they'll get rid of the other services at some point along with DC Universe, but for now it's all separate.

Actually, Josh, HBO Max is indeed included with existing HBO Now and HBO subscriptions.
