Dude, it's like a timewarp back to the 70's. The script, the names, the editing, the music, even the film stock are spot on and totally taking the piss out of the genre. Hell, in one scene BD keeps looking at the boom microphone that's dangling into the frame while he's speaking. Totally a must see.

Frost/Nixon (2008) - 8/10
I knew of David Frost's interviews with former president Richard Nixon but knew very little about them, so this was very informative.
The 7th Dawn (1964) - 6/10
This movie could have been so much better. William Holden (one of my favorite actors) is a former US soldier living in Malaya after helping to liberate the country from the Japanese during WWII. Now the Malayans are growing restless under British rule, and a communist insurgency develops, with Holden caught in the middle. Also stars Capucine (hubba hubba) and a young Susannah York, who'd go on to play Lara, mother of Kal-El, in Superman (1978). For all that, it's unfortunately a pretty boring movie.
