There are probably 1000 guys who could run faster than Bolt, but they are doing other things or they dont even know they have the potential to run faster than Bolt. So what ? Bolt is STILL considered to be the best of all time. We are speaking about recognized artists producing stuff for KNOWN companies. Customs and other things will get lost. They wont survive the TEST of time. PERIOD.

Jerry sculpts big, muscular males like God himself.

All in all, People should be glad PCS does something a little different. I do think there are licenses that PCS could handle well but just because I think that it doesn't mean that they would sell well, or that PCS wants to do them. So let PCS do PCS, and just enjoy what they do.

Agreed, Josh. Ultimately its a matter of what Jerry wants himself, but i BET in 4-5 years he is going to think what i told him. Pity or not, he is wasting his "talent". Im not saying that Jerry is the best sculptor of faces or creatures (Martin Canale is probably a better all-around sculptor and Steve Wang is surely a more complete horror-related sculptor), but Jerry is the GOD of male beefed up anatomy. This is his expertise!

Characters like Hulk, Juggernaut, Bane were MADE to be sculpted by Jerry. PERIOD. im not going to discuss it.

But lets move on. I expressed my opinion to Jerry and he is smart enought to think of it 4-5 years down the road.

Why waste his talent on comic book characters? They are only timeless in the pop culture echo chamber. I'd rather Jerry tries his hand at original subjects, completely unrestrained from the silly spandex and pouch belts of Marvel characters.

I get what you're saying, basically along the lines of Sideshow's court of the Dead, not the same subject per-say but something completely original that has no other company saying what can and can't be done and no outside deadlines to confine the sculpts to.

Here's the only issue, to get people to care about that original property you're going to have to give them some sort of back story or reason to care about what you are producing, much like Sideshow did with the comics and books. This gives people a reason to keep coming back outside of the "it looks cool" because that will only take you so far in a line.

I wonder if Jerry has anything like that he's been kicking around...
