Are these based of JP or Real Life? I haven't looked in a while but last I remember is that while quadroped or bipedal is still up in the air the back legs were much shorter then that and it wasn't quite as obviously bipedal.

Damtoys kinda doing their own thing, definitely inspired by JP but aesthetically their own.

This spino is definitely out of date by today's standards but it's still very nicely done, and just the aesthetics alone appeal to me.

Something like the upcoming PNSO Spino is a much more accurate modern portrayal.

Just got my Carnotaurus statue today. A tad disappointed that the base came damaged, some of the leaves on the ferns snapped off while in packaging. The dinosaur itself looked great, though I do hope in the future Damtoys will use a better grade Styrofoam. Looked like the dinosaur was in a blizzard when I opened the package up.

Yeah the foam sucks, it's worse than stuff i've had made custom, just a big lump of foam they carve out a hole, not even properly molded.

Amazingly though both my 2 new pieces came perfect today though!!

So i got Coelophysis and Quetzalcoatlus today, both are really excellent and continue the "damtoys do superb paints" theme. Both large and very impressive pieces for sure, Coelophysis i kept wondering why was this $350 when it's just a small bust.....because it's a huge bust that's why lol.

The only real bad thing is the seam on the jaw for Coelophysis but honestly it's not the end of the world.

I would urge anyone to pick up Quetzalcoatlus, the pose, the textures, the paints, the base with the water effects and the dead dino, it's all just sublime imo.

Some quick phone pics and better pics and video reviews to come!
