Unless it has a CoH more to my liking, I ain't feelin' it. I guess it's more of the "style" of sculpt, rather than the quality for me, because it looks like a nice quality piece overall.

If this is 1/4 it blows the original one out of the water. I'd be trying to sell the original as fast as i could to get the best price asap.

My guess is 1/4. I like the classy black base as well.

I'm going to say this is 1/4 scale for three of reasons.

1. I don't think Jerry would do two 1/3 scale statues straight off the bat. I think he'd dip his toe with Akuma. It's a safer bet. Plus 1/3 scale would be hand sculpted I believe. That's a lot of work for two statues.

2. Jerry said he wanted to revisit Ryu because over the years there were things he'd decided he could have improved upon.

3. 1/4 Akuma is Jerry's favorite and honestly I think he likes its' grail status. It was a passion project that eventually launched the business Pop Culture Shock. Hence I think if he revisits the older grails he'll start with Ryu not Akuma.

Regarding market value. This will be a horribly heated debate. But I'm not going to lie. When I had to cut my collection down I had a strong feeling Ryu was going to be revisited first and that he'd be as good if not better. Hence I sold them. I do miss them. But this little beauty will make up for it.

Then again I could be wrong and it's 1/3 scale...
