I have not seen the movie yet, all I got is a very bad memory of Beast Wars on Fox Kids network.
I recently checked the intro of the show and I was hit with a massive wave of nostalgia

The movie is dissapointed for the title "rise of the beasts", the maximals bodies are poorly designed, I dont remember the robot mode of cheetor, rhinox and airazor and it seems all, except airazor, are gray which is very boring. Prime1 Primal is still the best
