TNG is the best tv series of all time. Hope there are some cameos. Fingers crossed they don’t ruin it like Last Jedi and Thrones...I like Discovery so that’s a good sign.

From what I've read Patrick Stewart is also a producer and part of his contract allows him to have input on the creative direction of the show... who else knows the character as well as the actor who played him all those years...

The problem with The Last Jedi was Mark Hamill tried to tell Rian Johnson he was going in the wrong direction with the Skywalker character but Rian basically told him to F'off this is my movie...

The first season of Discovery started out rocky for me but I ended up loving it.... season 2 is pretty good but one annoying thing I hate is Michael Burnham spends a lot of time this season just crying about stuff... I mean literally crying, it's so annoying...

Yup. I know all about Hamill. He was right too. JJ also made the mistake of not using Mark. Mark even wanted Luke to come to the rescue at the end and fight Kyle but nope. I loved his version where Luke and Leia barely missed getting there in time and witnessed Han dying. Would have been much more powerful. Shame.
