Perhaps. However, this is the same world where one company decided to cancel several comic titles and virtually all aspects of its related merchandising just to screw over another movie studio's potential profits. In essence, it chose to lose money over helping another company potentially make more. Nothing surprises me when it comes to the depths these studios will go.... lol.

Brooklyn (2015) - An Irish immigrant lands in 1950s Brooklyn, where she quickly falls into a new romance. When her past catches up with her, however, she must choose between two countries and the lives that exist within.
The story is nothing new, but it's beautifully executed. A real pleasure to watch. 9/10

Force awakens 8.5/10
edit - going to bump my vote up to 9/10 as I learn more about the characters and the movie had some time to settle in

Star Wars The Force Awakens 8/10
Third best Star Wars film ever made, and definitely ranks ahead of Return of the Jedi for me

Macbeth (2015) - Macbeth, the Thane of Glamis, receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, Macbeth murders his king and takes the throne for himself.
Fantastic looking movie, especially the red hues of the final act and Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard certainly deliver in the roles of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Shakespearean dialogue however, is always a tough pill for me to swallow which limits the appeal films like this have for me. 7/10

Star Wars: The Force Awakens 9.5/10
I am not going to go into detail since there is a dedicated thread but suffice it to say I had a blast watching this film and it delivered everything I wanted it to as the first film in the new trilogy. The franchise has been redeemed in my eyes from the dark times that are the prequels and I am really looking forward to what's in store for future films.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
