Is it just me or are the colors for BT-1 off? I don't remember that much gold on him. Still picking up the set but a little disappointed.

No, you are right. He actually doesn't really have any gold, the colors on him are definitely different. Maybe they'll release a comic accurate non-exclusive version later.

Agree, cool set. This BeeTee colour scheme's a variation on the (Marvel) Darth Vader #8 cover:

Also just found this, (KotoJP rep) gai_KOTO_jin from another forum said "We worked with Lucasfilm to come up with a version that we felt best represented the look of these droids." http://forum.rebelscum.com/showthrea...1133309&page=2

Ah yes, I see it now. I guess they wanted something with a bit more "pop" in color.

I saw Koto is taking orders on their site for non-attendees.

Glad they're offering convention exclusives for the non-attendees like myself.

A Koto rep chimed in on this on another forum. They said that the look of the droids varies from issue to issue, cover to cover. Stated, they worked with Lucasfilm to come up with a look that best represented the look of the droids.

If this is true, I'm ok with it. It's true that every artist adds their own flair to the look. Since these characters haven't appeared in any other medium, it's anyones guess as to what they should really look like. If this is blessed by Lucasfilm, I'd say it's ok.
