Hey Jesse,
Can Future Floor Finish be brushed on???? Yes.
Will it give you the same gloss effect as when you spray? Well, yes and no...it all depend on how many coats you brush on...it will take several.
What I usually recommend is that for areas like this, to use Testors Clear Top coat. This stuff works great for small areas that need to be brushed and add a high gloss sheen.

As Dan Perez and Rick Cantu have said Future works great for coatings. Future is self leveling so I have prepared kits by coating it with the Future to fill in minor scratches.
I have tried this technique before apllying Alclad and worked good.
I have also put it on top of a base coat for female skin before applying flesh tones.
I have used it for mouthes and eyes or other glossy areas. As Dan has said Tamiya clear has its advantages & disavantages too.
You can repair minor blemishes in clear parts with Future.
I have also used Future to stiffen chamois cloth for a cape I made.

I tried using Future for my Alien egg. I wanted a shiny slimy look but, I guess it has to be polished in order to get that look.
In the end I just brushed on some Plaid gloss. It gave me the slimy look I wanted.
